David Tang is a dedicated financial advisor with a passion for helping individuals take control of their financial future. With nearly two decades of experience navigating the complexities of the University of California pension system, he specializes in guiding UC employees and retirees through the financial decisions that shape their retirement.

David holds a Series 65 license and earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University, Fullerton. His background in both healthcare and financial planning allows him to take a holistic approach when working with clients, ensuring they have the knowledge and strategies needed to build, grow, and preserve their wealth. His primary focus is on helping clients maximize their benefits, avoid common retirement pitfalls, and create financial security that lasts a lifetime. 

Beyond the Office

David and his wife, Summer, live in Cypress, California, with their daughter. He is an active member of SeaCoast Grace Church and enjoys volunteering in his community. When he’s not working with clients, you can find him exploring new technology, saltwater fishing, or taking on new home improvement projects—some more successful than others.
