Professional Experience

With a strong background in finance and client services since 2017, Tabitha Pohl serves as the Administrative Assistant to Richard Sturm at Pension Financial Group. Her extensive experience includes roles as a billing representative at Apria Healthcare as well as private healthcare offices, giving her a deep understanding of client care and financial processes.

Before transitioning into wealth management, Tabitha worked in school districts assisting children with special needs, a role that shaped her compassionate and service-oriented approach. Though she initially pursued Early Childhood Education at Long Beach City College and Ultrasound Sonography at Newbridge College, she found her true calling in financial services through an unexpected yet divinely guided opportunity.

Dedicated to providing exceptional client support, Tabitha ensures that clients’ immediate needs are met with care and efficiency, helping them feel supported and reassured in their financial decisions. She remains committed to ongoing learning, attending quarterly administrative seminars, compliance training, and currently pursuing her Series 65 license.

As a Notary Public for the State of California, Tabitha further enhances the services offered to Pension Financial Group’s clients, ensuring convenience and professionalism in financial transactions. 

Beyond the Office

Outside of work, Tabitha enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters, embracing the outdoors through hiking, camping, boating, and winter snow activities. She is actively involved in her church, a women’s group, and serves on the PTA committee at her daughter’s school.
